New Outdoor Electronic Announcement Sign to be Installed
Written by Administrator
Tuesday, 30 September 2008

Warrior SignThe Friends group is pleased to report that a new announcement sign will be installed  on the northwest corner of the school property along Antique City Drive.

The sign, which streams messages throughout the day on two sides, can be programmed for a year at a time or changed immediately for updated messages.  It will be used for city and school messages.  The city council has allocated $10,000 in funding, and the school board another $5,000.  Our Savior Lutheran Church has donated $100 for the sign as well.  The total cost of $21,000 leaves about $5,000 for the Friends group to fund from current and future donations.

It will be a welcome addition to the school property, and hopefully will enhance our school and demonstrate activity and enthusiasm within the community, as well as being a convenient way to make announcements of public events.
